Text: Lamentations 3:25-26
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. (NIV)
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
We often question God’s presence and faithfulness in times of uncertainty and suffering. But today’s passage reminds us that God’s goodness and salvation are always available to those who wait for Him.
In Lamentations 3:25–26, Jeremiah writes these powerful words of hope and encouragement. Despite the devastation and judgment that had befallen Jerusalem, Jeremiah finds comfort in God’s faithfulness.
God’s faithfulness is not dependent on our circumstances. He is good to those who hope in Him and faithful to those who seek Him. Even while suffering, God’s faithfulness remains our anchor.
As we wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord, we are reminded that God’s timing is perfect. His deliverance may not come in our expected way or timeline, but it will come.
Let us respond to God’s faithfulness by seeking Him earnestly, waiting patiently, and trusting His perfect timing. May we hold fast to the truth of God’s faithfulness in every season of life?

Conclusion:
As we reflect on Lamentations 3:25–26, let us be reminded of God’s unwavering faithfulness. He is good to those who hope in Him and faithful to those who seek Him. Even while suffering, even in times of waiting, God’s faithfulness remains our anchor.
Let us respond to His faithfulness by seeking Him earnestly, by waiting on Him patiently, and by trusting in His perfect timing. And as we do, we can rest in the assurance that God is with us, that He is working all things together for our good, and that His faithfulness will never fail.
May we hold fast to this truth in every season of life, confident that our God is faithful and will see us through to the end. Amen.
